dr. Sandy Qlintang received his medical degree 1994 from Atmajaya University,Jakarta. After he finished his duty as a Chief Doctor of Primary Health Care in Pringsewu, Lampung, he began to work in pharmaceutical industry. In 2003 he joined Kalbe Group as Marketing Manager of Parenteral Nutrition, Anaesthesi and Renal Products Aug 2003 until end of 2005, as a assistant Director of Renal Business, Jan, 2006 until July, 2006, As a General Manager of Corporate Business Development and Emerging Business Opportunity (EBO)July 2006 until end of 2008,as a General Manager of Health Care Provider (Mitrasana Clinic & Pharmacyst) since 1st Oct 2008 until March, 2012,as a General Manager BD and EBO of Strategic Business Unit Biopharma, April 2012 until June 2014. Since July 2014 he is  Deputy Director of Stem Cell and Cancer Institute and PT Bifarma Adiluhung.

Yuyus Kusnadi, Ph.D 

Completed his Bachelor’s degree in 1996 from University of Indonesia. After graduation he worked at Indonesian Institute of Science, R&D center for Biotechnology and R&D center for Chemistry until 2002. During 1998-1999 he took practical training in Biotechnology in Germany. He received his M.Sc in 2004 and his PhD in 2007 from Hokkaido University. The end of 2007 he joined Innogene Kalbiotech as a Project Manager to set up stem cell laboratory. In 2009 he began to work at Stem cell and Cancer Institute as Principal Investigator.

Indra received his PhD degree from Tohoku University, Japan with a fellowship grant from Ministry of Culture, Sport and Education Japan (MONBUSHO). He then carried out his Postdoctoral Research at the Laboratory of Molecular Biophysics, National Heart Lung and Blood Institute (NHLBI), National Institute of Health (NIH) Bethesda, MD, USA with a fellowship grant from Intramural Research Training Award, IRTA, NIH.

He is currently a member of the Editorial Board of Chinese Journal of Clinicians (2010-2014) and active as reviewer with several publishers such as Elsevier, Bentham Science, Springer and BMC-Proteome Science. His main research interest is allogenic stem cell from Wharton Jelly and the proteomic of stem cell and cancer particularly new separative methodologies and isolation/purification of protein from stem cell conditioned medium

Yurista Septiani Dewi, S.Farm, MSc., Apt

She is a graduate master in Pharmacy Management, majoring in Industrial Pharmacy. She received her bachelor degree in Pharmacy (S.Farm) (August, 2009) from Gadjah Mada University. She also graduated from Double Degree Program, Gadjah Mada University (Professional Degree/Apothecary Program) (Apt) (August, 2010) and Master from Industrial Pharmacy Management (M.Sc) (December, 2010). In October 2011-until now, she is a Biorisk Officer in Stem Cell and Cancer Institute and also help as a Quality (GMP Infrastructure) in ReGeniC (Regenerative and Celular Therapy) and Bifarma (WJ-MSC), Kalbe Farma.

 

 

Dr. Harry Murti

He completed his undergraduate degree at Gadjah Mada University in 2005. He went on further education, culminating in him being awarded a Doctor degree (Dr.) by Bogor Agricultural University in 2013. In 2006, he was recruited by the Stem Cell and Cancer Institute (SCI) to conduct research on Somatic Cell Nuclear Transfer (SCNT). He obtained a certification in Good Clinical Practice from the Clinical Study Unit, Faculty of Medicine, University of Indonesia (CSU-FK UI). Currently, Dr. Harry Murti is a Research Associate at SCI and a Quality Manager at ReGeniC (The First Registered Stem Cell Processing Laboratory in Indonesia). His main research interest is in pre-clinical as well as clinical studies of stem-cell-based treatment in degenerative diseases. He is also passionate about developing an innovation, management and commercial perspective on science and technology.


Felicia Bianca Tjahjadi, B.Sc (Hons)

Bianca received her bachelor degree in Life Sciences (Biomedical Science) from National University of Singapore in 2014. During her sophomore year, she joined the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Programme in Sciences (UROPS) to investigate cancer metabolism involving how Pyruvate Kinase Isoform 2 regulate hTERT expression in immortalized fibroblasts. She then continued her research for her honours thesis at Novartis Institute of Tropical Diseases (NITD) to develop a method to capture spontaneous mutants of the malaria parasite, Plasmodium falciparum for target deconvolution. She also did a brief internship at Becton Dickinson Bioventure Singapore during her summer break, to help the development of food pathogen assay using magnetic-bead coupled antibody. She is currently working on developing Endothelial Progenitor Cell (EPCs) therapy and Conditioned Medium (CM) as a research officer in Stem Cell Translational Research division at Stem Cell and Cancer Institute, PT Kalbe Farma Tbk.

 

 




Kelvin Yaprianto, B.Sc (Hons)

Kelvin received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Melbourne in 2012, majoring in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. He then proceeded to do an Honours year at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research, during which he studied the influence of shRNA-mediated knockdown of the NF-κB family of transcription factors on cancer cell lines’ behaviour. He is currently working on a project which involves in vitro xeno-free expansion of Wharton’s jelly Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSCs) as a quality control staff.

 

Linda Noviana, S.Si., Apt

She is a Pharmacist, has received both Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (2006) and Pharmacist (2008) from Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB). She began working as Research and Development Pharmacist in PT Meprofarm, Bandung. She gained her experience working as Quality Control Head Section in Rohto Laboratory Indonesia, Bandung. Currently, she is working as a Quality Assurance Supervisor handles GMP and Quality System for Stem Cell Division, Stem Cell & Cancer Institute, Kalbe Farma.


 

Sonya Apriani Tandy, S. Farm., Apt.

Sonya Apriani Tandy is Research Assistant at Stem Cell & Cancer Institute. She received her Pharmaceutical Bachelor (2011) and Pharmacist (2012) from the University of Indonesia in Depok. Sonya was recruited to PT. Dexa Medica as Formulation Development Scientist in 2012. Now she is responsible in GMP Project as one of Quality Assurance Staff for Wharton’s Jelly Mesenchymal Stem Cell Production in Stem Cell and Cancer Institute. 


 

Yuli Nurcahya Amalia

She received her diploma majoring Pharmaceutical and Food Analyst in 2012 from Health Polytechnic of Jakarta II. In 2012, she started worked as a Quality Assurance Analyst PT. Finusolprima Farma (a Kalbe Company), Bekasi-Jawa Barat. She then gained experience working as a Raw Material-Quality Control Analyst at PT. Soho Industri Pharmasi, Pulogadung-Jakarta. Now, she is a Laboratory Technician at Stem Cell and Cancer Institute (SCI) and responsible as a Quality Personnel for WJ-MSC project.


Stefan Nugroho, S.Si.

Stefan Nugroho graduated from Padjajaran University in 2014 with a Biology major. During his final project, he investigated the expression of a fungal enzyme responsible for pectin hydrolysis. His academic achievements include him being declared 1st runner up in Paper Competition held by PT Pembangkitan Jawa Bali and twice selected as participants in Program Kreativitas Mahasiswa DIKTI, from which he got his first scientific publication as a 2nd writer. He was also awarded a grant from Badan Operasional Perguruan Tinggi Negeri (BOPTN) on the basis of technological innovation. He is currently working as a research assistant in Stem Cell Division, Stem Cell and Cancer Institute (SCI), PT. Kalbe Farma Tbk.

Andi Utama, Ph.D (Principle Investigator)

Completed his Bachelor's degree in 1995, received his M.Sc. in 1997 and PhD. in 2000 - all from Gifu University, Japan. He carried out his Postdoctoral Research at Central Research Laboratories, Maruishi Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd., Osaka, Japan in 2000-2002, and National Institute of Infectious Diseases, Tokyo, Japan, with a fellowship grant from the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) in 2002-2004. He led Molecular Virology Research Group in Research Center for Biotechnology in 2004 to 2008. He joined Mochtar Riady Institute for Nanotechnology in 2006 as Research Coordinator as well as Principal Investigator until 2011. Prior to current position, he was Senior Scientist at Sentinext Therapeutics. Sdn. Bhd. His main research interest is molecular biology of virus, particularly virus evolution, replication and vaccine development.

Akterono Dwi Budiyati, M. Biomed.

Graduated from Padjadjaran University, Bandung at 1998, received her Master degree in Biomedical from Faculty of Medicine, University of Indonesia in 2011. She started her carier in  biomedical research at Naval Medical Unit-2 (Namru-2) Jakarta and involved in Dengue projects at Virology department in 1998 to 2006. She joined Mochtar Riady Institute for Nanotechnology as research assisstant at Immunology Division in 2006 to 2013. Her main research interest is in immunology, particularly dendritic cell and vaccine development.


 

Gita Dewi Kusumo, S.Si.

She received her Bachelor of Science in 2013 from Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), majoring in Developmental and Molecular Biology.  In early of 2014 she joined SCI Cancer division under the supervision of Andi Utama PhD where she involved in a team that working in the development of HPV and HBV oral vaccines using some Lactic acid bacteria system. 


 

Wara Noveka

He graduated his diploma majoring in Pharmacy in  August, 2011 from Health Polytechnic (Ministry of Health) of Jakarta II. In April 2011, he worked as a Pharmacist (internship) in Research and Development Department of PT Novell Pharmaceutical, Bogor. Completed his Bachelor's degree in 1999 from Angelo State University, San Angelo, Texas, USA, received his PhD. in 2003 from University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, Texas USA. Dini Budhiarko, M.Si.

She is a Research Assistant in Stem Cell and Cancer Institute. She received her Bachelor (2004) in Biology from University of Indonesia. In 2006, she was recruited to Stem Cell and Cancer Institute at Stem Cell Division and received Kalbe Farma fellowship. In 2010, she obtained her Master's Degree from Bogor Agricultural University in Stem Cell research, Differentiation of Mouse Embryonic Stem Cell to beta-Pancreatic Cells. In the same year (2010), she moved and work at Cancer Division, until now. She work on cancer biomarkers for diagnostic and prognostic purposes.


 

Najmiatul Masykura, S.Si

She is graduated from Institute Technology of Bandung, majored in Chemistry. She finished her bachelor degree in July 2009, and pursue her interest in molecular biology research as she joined SCI since February 2010. Mia is one of research assistant  in Cancer division, under Mr. Ahmad Rusdan H. Utomo, PhD's supervision. Her interest in cancer research, leading her into valuable 4 years experience at SCI. She was involved in biomarker research in human cancer sample, mainly focusing on gene alteration detection along with developing a better method for this.
